When a damaged Planet Killer (Doomsday Machine) appears just outside of Federation space and crashes into a lifeless moon, various parties are jumping over themselves to claim the remains. Athena, the closest Starfleet vessel, is tasked with beating the other competing factions to recover any advanced technology they can. But what secrets does this mysterious superweapon hold?
