Never in a million years did I anticipate this turn of events. I'm... (sigh)
Gonna be acting chief while the Lieutenant is gone.
"Give it time and you'll love being chief," said Marcus... well, he can stuff it.
You realize how much work goes into running a department, let alone intelligence??
Up until now, I was able to get out of it, but I guess I can't evade it forever.

Never realized what all goes into the chief's role... sooo much logistical work.
Gonna have to restart my coffee addiction if P'Rel doesn't come back soon.
Let me clarify for the log, though: I can certainly do the work, I just don't want to.
You know?
Down to the root of it, it's all boring deskwork and I'd rather be left to my devices.

(Sigh)
