| Description | Dionysus Bar is the main recreational facility on the USS Athena and is named after the Greek god of wine and mirth making. It is the only area of the ship permited to supply alcohol and is staffed by a rota of volunteer NCO's. The lounge plays host to musical events, comedy events and provides space for the crew to relax playing games such as Poker, Chess and Stratagema. The lounge has a raised area along the port side wall which can double as a stage and the bar lines the starboard side. The room is covered in warm muted colours and is largely furnished with low tables, sofas and arm chairs. It serves a large range of food and drink from al cultures in the alpha and beta quadrant. |
