| General Overview | An intense woman of exceptional grit and determination, Thea is often unfairly considered harsh by those who only see her in the throes of her current professional focus. A far more balanced view paints her as a passionate and brilliant woman prone to isolating herself in a private bubble to avoid becoming overwhelmed and distracted. Her implants allow her to perceive a spectrum of sound frequencies normally not processed by the human brain and she has quite pronounced Misophonia when it comes to some sounds and pitches. Thea hears well enough for her disability to pass under the radar, with the only impact on her speech being more inclined to be passed of as a slight accent. She is proficient in Federation Standard Sign Language, which can be the only way to get through to her when she's being stubborn and has 'switched herself off'. |
